We hope to be able to accommodate the wants and needs of those living nearby as well as our camping visitors and those visiting our small village. We are a family owned campground since 2004 and have made it our goal to provide outdoor fun for both the local residents and visitors to Caplinger Woods located in Caplinger Mills.

Caplinger Mills, once a bustling town, is steeped in Cedar County lore and Civil War Era History. Though a small village now, people are once again discovering the recreational opportunities afforded them on and near the Sac River.

We have 22 acres of country property with nearly a 1/4 mile of frontage on the Sac River, a great fishing and canoeing river. Not to mention an assortment of Crappie, Catfish, Walleye along with other species are actively sought and caught from the bridge or the waters around the dam.
